What is Stamen

Stamen is the male reproductive organ of a flowering plant. It is consists of two parts: a long slender stalk, the filament, and a two-lobed anther at the tip. All the stamens of a flower are togetherly termed the androecium. At the base of some stamens, small secretory structures, called nectaries, are often found.
